Facebook Game - Refunds Policy

Lord Word Worm (developed and maintained by Inventerprising Pty Ltd) sells in-game credits via Lord Word Worm's "Top-up" facility utilising Inventerprising's proprietry "Triple-S" payment system. The in-game credits are non-tangible digital goods delivered electronically with no physical shipping and as such cannot be deemed faulty or damaged. Accordingly, Inventerprising Pty Ltd does not issue refunds after the "Top-up" facility has been initiated by the player and the correct amount credited to their Lord Word Worm Bank, as the in-game credit will have been received and useable within the game. Thus the credit will have been delivered in the condition, manner and format clearly described and made available to the player prior to their initiating and approving the "Top-up" transaction.
However, under certain circumstances a refund request will be considered on the merits of the circumstances related to the request. Inventerprising Pty Ltd may seek proof of in-game credit purchase and any other information and/or documents related to the specific refund request. Generally, a refund request relating to the following specific circumstances where the player's purchase of in-game credit or loss of in-game credit is the direct result of a fault in Lord Word Worm or related Inventerprising Pty Ltd's software or hardware systems, will be considered by Inventerprising Pty Ltd:
- a player's debit or credit card was charged with a "Top-up" transaction but their Lord Word Worm Bank balance was not adjusted by the correct amount.
- a fault with the Lord Word Worm application including the integrated Triple-S payment system provided by Inventerprising Pty Ltd resulted in an unintended charge to a player's debit or credit card, and/or a reduction in a player's Lord Word Worm Bank balance.
At the sole discretion of Inventerprising Pty Ltd, under exceptional circumstances other refund requests may be considered on the merits of the particular circumstances related to the request.
All requests for a refund must be received within the period of seven days after Lord Word Worm's "Top-up" was performed. Requests should include detailed and grounded reasons for the refund request and any other information, proof and/or documents relevant to the circumstances. Inventerprising Pty Ltd may also request that you provide further information, proof and/or documents relevant to the case during the consideration of your refund request.
Where a faulty transaction relates to your debit or credit card or issuing financial institution, Inventerprising Pty Ltd will not be liable for any refund, reimbursement or any penalties. Nor will Inventerprising Pty Ltd be liable for any refund, reimbursement or any penalties to you, your debit or credit card company, debit or credit card issuing financial institution or any other individual or organisation where any further charges, fees and the like are applicable due to a transaction relating to Lord Word Worm.
Inventerprising Pty Ltd is not responsible for any user error or malfunctioning of user software or hardware which results in the player's purchase of in-game credit or loss of in-game credit, including, but not limited to, the existence of viruses or other malware on the player's computer. Inventerprising Pty Ltd is not responsible for purchase of in-game credit or loss of in-game credit resulting from accessing of your Facebook account or otherwise accessing of your Lord Word Worm account by other parties due to any reason, including, but not limited to, the loss of your password, or compromising of the security of your Facebook user account or computer for any reason.
